My family & friends know that no matter where I go, I always carry a camera.

I believe that there is a story to capture in every moment...whether it is in an expression, an intimate look between a couple, a shared laugh among friends or a twinkle in the eye. Some of the most memorable photographs are the ones that are most natural, which leads to my photojournalistic approach when it comes to weddings & sessions. I love watching the day unfold. Anais Nin once said, "We write to taste life twice, in the moment, and in retrospection." If only she knew that photography would allow for the same.

I am also greatly influenced by fashion photography, so a lot of this inspiration shows in my work. My background in arts & design also contributes in large part to my style and aesthetics.

My aim is to give clients a sense of who they are & what makes their relationships extraordinary, all while having a fun time doing it! Perhaps they will see me through the photographs as well: a bit of spunk, boldness, chic + fun! At the very least, clients will be able to laugh at my awesome jokes! =)

Life moves at an incredibly fast pace, so I feel incredibly lucky to be able to freeze little moments in time. I feel very blessed to do what I love & love what I do, and I hope my passion and skills for photography and design show in my work!

day two of the holiday mini sessions was full of love and fun! i love seeing previous clients and meeting their new family members and also meeting new clients and their wonderful families and also meeting new couples celebrating their engagement! my favorite part of my job is that i get to capture these special moments and being a part of my client’s lives during their session. here are some of my favorites from day two of the holiday mini sessions in southern california.

kim le and jason are an amazing couple. kim le and jason are photographers, and kim le is also a fashion blogger at lace and locks and owner of a women’s online boutique, morning lavender. kim le and jason came to new york city this past september to celebrate their one year wedding annivesary and to check out fashion week. during their stay, i captured a mini session at the beautiful brooklyn bridge park overviewing the nyc skyline with kim le and jason. kim le is wearing morning lavender’s popular tulle skirt with hair and makeup by plush 9 network. here are some of my favorites from kim le and jason’s mini session in new york city.

arabella’s 1st birthday | party | secret garden theme

i have been so lucky to photograph Melita and her growing family since her 1st pregnancy with her son alek, who is turning 5 this year, and now capturing her daughter, arabella’s, 1st birthday. each year, melita plans elaborate and fun parties for alek. arabella’s 1st birthday was definitely one of my favorites that she has thrown thus far. the party had delicious food provided by crepe maker as well as melita’s mom homemade filipino food. there was a kids activity table where they could water color as well as design their own pots. each and every detail of the party was beautiful from the personalized calligraphy tote goodie bags, personalized table runner & table cloths, & signage. the dessert table was to die for…she had 4 different types of cakes from sweet and saucy & beverly’s best bakery as well as a variety of macarons from lette, cupcakes from kupcakespot, and an assortment of other sweet treats. melita also had an amazing silhouette artist come by to cut out personalized profiles for each guest. i can’t wait to capture her next party and am excited to see what she has planned!
