i have been so lucky to photograph Melita and her growing family since her 1st pregnancy with her son alek, who is turning 5 this year, and now capturing her daughter, arabella’s, 1st birthday. each year, melita plans elaborate and fun parties for alek. arabella’s 1st birthday was definitely one of my favorites that she has thrown thus far. the party had delicious food provided by crepe maker as well as melita’s mom homemade filipino food. there was a kids activity table where they could water color as well as design their own pots. each and every detail of the party was beautiful from the personalized calligraphy tote goodie bags, personalized table runner & table cloths, & signage. the dessert table was to die for…she had 4 different types of cakes from sweet and saucy & beverly’s best bakery as well as a variety of macarons from lette, cupcakes from kupcakespot, and an assortment of other sweet treats. melita also had an amazing silhouette artist come by to cut out personalized profiles for each guest. i can’t wait to capture her next party and am excited to see what she has planned!
