She&#8217;s the one.  She&#8217;s the one who finishes my sentences.  She&#8217;s the one who laughs at all of my super awesome stories. She&#8217;s the one who I can talk to (or just be on the phone in silence) for hours on end. She&#8217;s the one you go to if you want dirt on me. She&#8217;s the only one who is just as silly as I am.  The one I&#8217;ve known since high school. My inseparable. My BFF. My &#8220;almost-boyfriend.&#8221; That&#8217;s Janis. My Janis. The one who is getting married. =)<\/p>\n<p>I love this girl&#8230;and I am so excited that she and her fianc\u00e9, An, are getting hitched! These two were completely made for each other.<\/p>\n<p>Since Janis moved to New York, I often <a href=\"https:\/\/miminguyen.com\/blog\/2009\/02\/11\/travels\/\">take spontaneous trips to visit since NY<\/a> is one of my favorite cities. On my last trip, we went to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stormking.org\/\">storm king art center<\/a> for a double-date picnic, and I whisked Janis &amp; An away for a casual engagement session. It was a chilly but very pretty autumn day.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the two, An is definitely more of a ham. =P They are so freakin&#8217; cute and quirky together.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I realized that, even if I tried, I could not get rid of this guy. He was always going to be in my life&#8230;&#8221; This is how Janis described their serendipitous encounters throughout the years. I love their adorable save-the-date (Janis drew the background) as you can sense their personalities through the image:<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2589\/4173213589_72fa63049a_o.jpg\" alt=\"STD\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Janis &amp; An will be getting married at a beautiful ranch in France this summer.
