what a beautiful wedding at twin oaks! sarina over at sarina love is so fun to work with! sarina had recently assisted me for linh & ky’s wedding [oops! i just realized there isn’t a post on that yet…it’ll be coming up soon!] and i had an amazing time 2nd shooting for her at lisa & justin’s wedding.
i found out a couple days before the wedding that my friend, linda, was in the bridal party! what a small world! i was in charge of the groom’s getting ready shots and while he was getting ready, he asked “hey, are you richard’s friend?” and i responded “oh yea! i’m his girlfriend!”. justin then gave me a weird look and i realized that he was talking about linda’s richard. so let me back up and tell you a bit of background. my bf is also named richard and is good close friends with linda’s richard, who we call, richie. when justin had asked “are you richard’s friend” i immediately thought of my richard since we never call linda’s richard, richard. [hope that made sense! haha] justin and i had a good laugh about it after it was sorted out that i wasn’t talkin bout “richie”.
