My family & friends know that no matter where I go, I always carry a camera.

I believe that there is a story to capture in every moment...whether it is in an expression, an intimate look between a couple, a shared laugh among friends or a twinkle in the eye. Some of the most memorable photographs are the ones that are most natural, which leads to my photojournalistic approach when it comes to weddings & sessions. I love watching the day unfold. Anais Nin once said, "We write to taste life twice, in the moment, and in retrospection." If only she knew that photography would allow for the same.

I am also greatly influenced by fashion photography, so a lot of this inspiration shows in my work. My background in arts & design also contributes in large part to my style and aesthetics.

My aim is to give clients a sense of who they are & what makes their relationships extraordinary, all while having a fun time doing it! Perhaps they will see me through the photographs as well: a bit of spunk, boldness, chic + fun! At the very least, clients will be able to laugh at my awesome jokes! =)

Life moves at an incredibly fast pace, so I feel incredibly lucky to be able to freeze little moments in time. I feel very blessed to do what I love & love what I do, and I hope my passion and skills for photography and design show in my work!

kim + dan | family | san diego

for the past few years, i’ve been honored to capture kim & dan and their super adorable kids, bradley & maddy. our session had been rescheduled a few times due to weather and or one of the kids being sick so we finally were able to meet up and kim & dan decided to go to their old stomping grounds…ucsd! =) afterwards, we headed down the street to la jolla cove for some prettysunset pictures…here are my faves:

aris + o’brian | engagement | ucla + griffith observatory

aris and o’brian met when they were in 2nd grade…aris had a crush on o’brian and they were playmates and sat next to each other in class until they were too talkative so the teacher decided to separate them. they didn’t officially get together until college, though they kept in touch through out the years. it was all about timing for these two lovebirds. they will be getting married in tuscany! i loooooove italy…especially tuscany and florence. the wedding is going to be amazing and can’t wait to hear details when they get back. here are some of my favorites from their engagement session at ucla & griffith observatory… and check out the slideshow below for more photos!

liam + max | baby shower + newborn session | san clemente

happy one month, twin nephews!!

an + dennis | maternity | irvine

i love how sweet and simple this maternity session was! an + dennis recently moved to orange county and bought a new house in irvine. we decided to shoot the session nearby at jeffrey open space. i can’t tell you how much i love this little gem of a location. i love how an & dennis included their four-legged family member in their session…what a cute lhasa apso! here are some of my favorites from their session…enjoy!
