My family & friends know that no matter where I go, I always carry a camera.

I believe that there is a story to capture in every moment...whether it is in an expression, an intimate look between a couple, a shared laugh among friends or a twinkle in the eye. Some of the most memorable photographs are the ones that are most natural, which leads to my photojournalistic approach when it comes to weddings & sessions. I love watching the day unfold. Anais Nin once said, "We write to taste life twice, in the moment, and in retrospection." If only she knew that photography would allow for the same.

I am also greatly influenced by fashion photography, so a lot of this inspiration shows in my work. My background in arts & design also contributes in large part to my style and aesthetics.

My aim is to give clients a sense of who they are & what makes their relationships extraordinary, all while having a fun time doing it! Perhaps they will see me through the photographs as well: a bit of spunk, boldness, chic + fun! At the very least, clients will be able to laugh at my awesome jokes! =)

Life moves at an incredibly fast pace, so I feel incredibly lucky to be able to freeze little moments in time. I feel very blessed to do what I love & love what I do, and I hope my passion and skills for photography and design show in my work!

kim + joe | wedding | richard nixon library | yorba linda

kim & joe’s wedding was held at the beautiful richard nixon library in yorba linda. kim & joe have such great style (click here to view their engagement session) & it definitely showed in all their details. i love the book theme for their reception & the simple yet sophisticated use of the baby breath’s for the centerpieces. kim & joe decided to do a first look and i love seeing and capturing this special moment.

out of office | bali | australia | new zealand

i’m heading off to bali this sunday after connie & huy‘s wedding on saturday. i am so excited to capture michelle & danh‘s wedding at the beautiful four seasons resort at jimbaran bay. to check on updates, teasers, & to see what i’m up to, follow me on instagram!

i will be out of the office starting tomorrow, saturday, april 13th, 2013 until monday, may 6th, 2013 and will have limited access to the internet but will respond to emails as soon as i am able to.

i’ll be heading to bali first then to australia & new zealand. i’ve always wanted to go to oz and new zealand so i am beyond ecstatic. eeeeeek!!!

catherine + jackson | wedding | csuf + crowne plaza anaheim

it was such an honor capturing catherine & jackson‘s special day. they met at cal state university, fullerton so after the beautiful ceremony at st. callistus catholic church in garden grove, we headed over to CSUF for a special photo op with the newlyweds and the wedding party. the reception was held at the crowne plaza hotel in anaheim and the decor & details were so glamorous & pretty! here are some of my favorites from catherine & jackson’s gorgeous wedding day:

barbara + paul | wedding | brooklyn new york | the green building

barbara & paul had such an amazing wedding in new york! the ceremony was held at st. charles borromeo church in brooklyn. after the ceremony, we headed over the the brooklyn bridge park/fulton ferry landing for more photos with the newlyweds and the wedding party. the light was amazing! the reception was held at the beautiful green building, also in brooklyn.
