michelle and cody had a beautiful traditional vietnamese tea ceremony at michelle’s parents house in burbank. the tea ceremony introduces both families to each other as well as present the bride and groom and pay respects to their ancestors. after the ceremony, the families feast on a delicious lunch and head down to costa mesa for the western ceremony and reception.
michelle and cody met during their undergrad at uc irvine and opted to have a first look at the location where they first met. their western ceremony was held at the avenue of the arts wyndham hotel lake. cody’s father officiated the sweet & short ceremony and the reception was also held at one of the wyndham’s banquet rooms. here are some of my favorite photos from michelle and cody’s lovely wedding at the wyndham ave of the arts hotel in costa mesa:
