jerica + paolo | engagement | mission san juan capistrano

i met jerica when she was the maid of honor at her sister & brother-in-law’s, nariza & stephen’s wedding that i captured back in 2012. jerica and paolo are such an adorable and fashionable couple. the story of how they met is just as cute. her sister, nariza and paolo’s older sister worked together at a fashion store at the mall and jerica and paolo often visited their sisters and one day bumped into each other. their sisters then had a thought of setting the two of them up together and the rest is history!

for jerica and paolo’s engagement session, they chose the beautiful mission in san juan capistrano as their backdrop. they also wanted to include their two 4-legged family members in their session so afterwards we went to a nearby park. jerica and paolo enjoy taking their pups on strolls while drinking boba.

holiday mini sessions | coto de caza + trabuco canyon | day one

happy new year! i can’t believe it’s already january 4th in 2016! i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! the holiday special mini sessions for 2015 was one of the best years to date! mini sessions were captured in nyc, houston, san francisco, and orange county! hopefully this year i can offer more cities!

kim + andre | engagement | big sur + monterey + 17 mile drive | pt 2

last week, part one of kim and andre’s big sur engagement was featured on the blog and here is part two! the day after we captured kim and andre’s gorgeous big sur engagement session, we headed out to monterey to check out the 17 mile drive and capture more of their engagement…this session was more casual and the day was so much fun! we explored monterey, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and made great memories together. here are some of my favorite moments during part ii of kim and andre’s engagement session in monterey and big sur.

kim + andre | engagement | big sur | central coast | pt 1

kim and andre’s engagement session in big sur was definitely one of my favorite sessions this year. we started out the session near their home in orange county to capture a few photos with their adorable four-legged baby, freddie, then headed out to big sur for a day of adventure and fun! kim and andre decided to have their engagement session in big sur since it was one of their first trips together and big sur means a lot of them.

we started out the engagement session with the amazing redwoods at pfeiffer big sur state park and then headed out to the pfieffer state beach for that california golden light that was so perfect. afterwards, we drove over to the famous bixby bridge to capture the last moment of the sunset…right at dusk. the next day, we headed out to monterey….more on that on the next blog post! here are some of my favorites from kim and andre’s big sur engagement session…we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!
